10 things I want for Christmas

  1. My grandma to get better because she has lung cancer, which means my mom will not be home for Christmas.
  2. Seat covers for my truck, so my seats do not get torn.
  3. An Outback coat from the Boot Barn because it is water proof and I need a new coat.
  4. A performance chip because it will increase my truck's power and fuel mileage.
  5. A new hunting knife, for my old one broke.
  6. A gift card to Buckaroo Business so when I go there it doesn't seem like I spent that much money.
  7. A gift card to Hastings because I like music.
  8. An Ipod cover because my Ipod gets dropped a lot.
  9. A pair of either Armitas or Chinks because my chinks broke when my horse bucked me off this past summer.
  10. A new Law Dog hat (cowboy hat) because I need a nice, dressy type hat.

Hamlet's modern-day speech

Is it better to live or die
Whether it is better to suffer
The troubles through life
Or put them to an end.
Dying, spleeping, its all dying is.
A sleep that ends heartaches and
Shocks life gives us. It is an
Achievement to wish for.
To die, to sleep, to sleep
Possibly to dream. Ah, btu there's a catch.
In death's sleep, what do you dream of
When we've put everything behind us?
We must think about this.
To consider what streches out our life.
Who would put up with humiliations,
The torture from higher class men,
Insults, rudeness from people in office,
mistreatment of others, when you
could just kill yourself? Who
Would want to go through the pain and
Sweat of an exhausting life, unless they
Were afraid of something worse than
Death, the undiscovered land of no
Return, which we wonder about and
Never get an answer, and to keep with
The evils we know and stay away from
The one's we don't? Fear and death
Make us all cowards, and our bodies
Weak by thinking too much. The actions
That should be done quickly get sidetracked,
And these actions soon become forgotten.

Halloween Memory

When I was in kindergarten I would come everyday and watch the Lone Ranger at 4:00 pm. Soon it was almost Halloween, and my mom asked me what I would like to be for Halloween. Well, I told her I wanted to be the Lone Ranger. She said "OK." Luckily my mom is creative and knows how to sew because she had to make my6 costume out of baby blue felt. She sewed the pants, shirt, and even made the mask. Soon I had the pants, the shirt, black boots, a hat, the awesome mask, and the fake gun and holster! I thought I looked exactly like the real Lone Ranger. Plus, at the time I had a white horse, which was pretty cool because the Lone Ranger also had a white horse. This was probably the best Halloween I've had.

It isn't fair....( Diary Entry 10-14-11)

It isn't fair that little siblings get away with things! I know that if I mouthed off to my parents or did something wrong in front of them, I would get punished. If my little brother does something on that order, he gets told not to do it again and does not get any punishment.

Letter to Shakespeare

Dear Mr. William Shakespeare,

I really like your play Othello, for it always kept me thinking what might happen next. I like how you mixed jealousy, kindness, love, and hatred into your creation. Although it is a tragedy, there are some very funny lines in the play. The play did end differently than I had expected, but it was still an awesome ending.

Sincerely,

Jacob Stenberg
